I am planning on attending a four year university in the fall. I will be going there as a transfer student in their junior year. I finished a degree at a community college. I will be moving into a dorm room and I was wondering whether I move in when the returning students move in or when the new students move in. I don’t know which date I should move in because I will be a new student at the college, but I am also transferring in as a junior. I’m confused. Someone help please.

Ok, so I live in Minnesota and I plan on moving to Pennsylvania in just over a year. I, most likely, will be moving by myself. I don’t know anyone over there and I’m never really even been out of state before.
I’m certain that I’m gonna do this, so please don’t try to change my mind or anything. Any tips on moving will be greatly appreciated.

I plan on moving to California from another state after I graduate college. I was wondering if I have to do anything to become a residence, do I have to change my licence plate/get a new licence?
How do I find a job/apartment before I actually move there?
Also if I have a criminal record would that stop me from getting an apartment?
