How much does it cost for a moving van? How much do you save if you pack things and load themselves, instead of just hiring a moving company to do it all? Any help here greatly appreciated!

I plan on moving from Chicago to Florida. I was interesed in using a moving service. How can I find a moving service?

I am currently living in the mid-atlantic and working as a rehab specialist (case manager) for adults with mental health disorders. I am planning on moving to Atlanta by January of 2009. Does anyone have any names of organizations that are good to work for and that I should apply?

I am moving from California to Florida and we just adopted a kitten. She will be 8 months old when we move, and I am worried that the drive will be traumatizing to her! Does anyone have any suggestions for keeping her happy and occupied? The move will be stressful enough for her, but my big worries are health, safety, and happiness! Any suggestions would be helpful!

I am planning on moving and at the house I am currently living we had paid a $400 dollar pet deposit plus the security deposit of $550. Okay there is some damage to the house but not alot at all. The house is in good condition and the only thing that really needs to be replaced is a window that cracked during the winter. So my question is how do I go about getting some of my deposit back? Do I need to wait until after I move out and they review the house? How does this work?
