What is the best way to go about this since I’m not currently residing in the area? How do I address this in my cover letter? Are companies willing to do phone interviews? I will have a time frame to visit for interviews. Plus when should I start looking if I don’t plan on living there until July or Aug? Any information will be helpful.

We are moving to a new house in few mths. By that time, my Newfie pup will be 13 mths. The new house is in the same neighbourhood, only few houses down the street. He is completely house trained and he comes to work with me. He is not a nervous dog but by nature he takes a bit more time than his littermate brothers to approach new environment.
Any tips to help his transition? I am planning to take him to the new house to smell around often in the next few mths.

What do I need to think about?
I’m moving into a new flat soon, it’s fully furnished, shared with a few other people (same kind of thing as a student flat, in the layout etc, only it’s not students).
All the stuff I’ve found about moving out for the first time seems to be for unfurnished places, so i dont need to buy furniture or anything.
What do I need to think about/be prepared for?

I have read that cats try to run away and get upset with a move, how can I make her most comfortable in the new place? My daughter is 8 yrs old (turned 8 yesterday) and last night at her birthday party, a mother informed me that they would be moving over winter holidays due to financial issues. This mother’s daughter is very close with my child and my daughter can, at times, be very clingy to certain people and friends. Unfortunately, this girl is one of them and my husband and I have clashing opinions on when to tell my daughter, and how to explain it. Thanks for your help.
